Cool LED Update (V-LEDs)

Thanks to V -LED, I got some interior lighting and license plate bulbs changed. I am still saving up for the turn signals, brakes, tails, etc.

Here are a few daytime pics, tonight I will take night time ones to show them off and I'll upload those:

Which license plate bulbs are these? i bought cheapos on ebay for $2.39 shipped (hahah) as an experiment, and they're actually not bad.. (dim, but bright enough to light up the license plate without lighting up the street below) but they're a tiny bit too blue..

cool pix!

I'm also planning to get some LED bulbs to replace the
license plate bulb.

However, I cannot decide which ones to get. I want them
to look bright... but not TOO bright.... Guess I'll just have
to order a couple of different ones to see which ones have
the right amount of brightness for my taste...

Thumbs up I got 02 ES300

I bought 194 LED's from ebay.

Can you please let me know how to get to license plate bulbs? I was thinking of prying plastic tabs on carpet trunk and then reaching?

Am I on correct track.

Yes you are correct. The only difficult part is removing the plastic tabs that holds the trunk liner. There's actually a tool that you can use to remove them but I just used a flat tip screwdriver.

Awesome. I was able to get some courage and open up the carpet. I removed the bolt holding the trunk opener assembly from inside the carpet and everything just opened up easily. I tried opening tabs but I know my hands and I would have easily broke it.

I am still waitingon my LEDs. Another quick question since I am already in the rear repeater lights. Do you think the same 194/168 LEDS would work? Mine is 02 ES300 and I don't think they act as brake lights? If they do would I need a double filament?

Thanks again
