That would bug the crap out of me. I plan to get a set of Philips 5000K crystal vision when my OEM 4300k eventually die.

that color looks about right. the camera tends to pick up the hids as more blue.

Brutal...

Thing is when I ordered the kits, I ordered them all at once. (2) 9006 5000k kits and an H11 5000k. One of the 9006 and the H11 was for my buddy (in the pictures) the other 9006 kit was for my IS350 fogs. I haven't tested my kit yet but it's identical to the ones in the picture in terms of part number and identification, ie, "9006" "5000k".

The most normal pic of what it looks like is I believe the third one, where we're outside and its shining on the snow. Literally dude, stop signs appear blue, even the exhaust from cars ahead of us on cold days, they have a distinct blue tint to it.

I'm reading a lot of posivitve feed back but also a LOT of negative feed back about these kits. So here's the $64,000 question:

Would you guys (the people who actually have the conversion kits installed on their cars) recommend a conversion kit from HIDEXTRA.com or not? Specifically, I'd probably get 5000k 9006 for the low beams on my 1993 SC300. Thanks!

some of us got them at black Friday price for $29.99/$39.99slim ballast (less than a tank of gas ), you got nothing to loose. For the price, yeah, start up flicker does bother me but I can live with it for now.

Do they ONLY flicker on start-up? Or do they do it all the time? Because for $50, I can deal with just a little flickering on start-up. But if they flicker all the time - hell naw! You can't really find any other kits for less than $80, and those are probably crap.
