i orderd 6000k hid kits for my headlights and fogs and when i installed them they dont look like 6000k 3 of the bulbs look 5000k and only one fog looks 6000k

EDIT: I emailed you guys already saying that I wasnt really worried about the head lights and after looking at them after taking the picture theyre really off compare to the left fog on the bottom.

so purchased a set of 6k for lows and fogs for my 97 sc and got them installed, everything worked for a week till yesterday night the lights flickered and completely stopped working exept my passenger side low beam, so checked my fuses and they were fine, next day as i took out my driver side low beam hid bulb an put in the new halogen bulb and turned on the lights, my fogs started working again perfectly but halogen was giving weak dimmed light and when i put back the low hid it didnt work including the fogs for some reason exept the passenger side low beam hid, so what can be the problem, driver side balast? but doesnt explain why my halogen wont even light up correctly now, any suggestions???

I just received my set of 3k bulbs for fogs and 1 set of 6k new bulbs for my headlights to replace my 5k's and 3 of the 4 lights are flickering as well. I install back the old bulbs and eveything is fine again. I emailed about my issue along with my information and waiting on a reply.

I just got my 6000k HID kit in the mail yesterday and I was wondering if it needed to be connected to my car's battery. I looked at the directions from the HIDextra website and it showed it being hooked up to the battery with a fuse. I don't recall seeing a fuse and cable in the box unless it isn't needed or should be purchased seperately.

The car is a 93 SC300 if that helps.

they have a wiring harness in the photos, it would work fine without one but its just a safety precaution to have one.

Oh, I see. So is it considered bad to not wire it up to the battery?

some would argue yes some would say no. its a hit and miss when the problems happens. ive ran many different kit on the GS now without the harness & with a harness and never had a real problem relating to a burnt harness/burnt ballast.

you do notice a difference when the vehicle is OFF not running and the HIDs turn on (auto sensing). "sometimes" it flickers/not turn on at all. with the wiring harness they power-up with no issues at all and when you crank the car to start it the light do not dim/cut off then back on when the cars running which is BAD for your hid's ballast.
