MTEC Bulbs?
I've been considering some replacement headlights/foglights for my 1999 ES300, and I'm not sure what brand to go with.
I've heard good things about PIAA, but they can be pricey. I currently have a set of Osram NightBreakers, and Sylvania SilverStars in my headlights and high beams. Any recommendations?
How is MTEC compared to Osram/Sylvania and PIAA?
EDIT: Meant to post in Lighting forum. Can someone please move this? Thanks.

Mtec Suck!
Cheap taiwanese made kit and will broke down before a year. I got one from AUTHENTIC MTEC DISTRIBUTOR on eBay and the ballast die after 11 months. This kit has 2 year warranty. Contact the seller said $100 for 1 ballast, mention about warranty no response. The guys from MTEC name Steve. Contact eBay and Paypal no luck, said they can't do anything. You stuck!!

I'm not sure who I had purchased my Mtec bulbs from for my fogs and high beams but they have lasted over four years on my cars without any problems. I have them installed on multiple cars and none have fail yet. So it might be the newer generations that has a high defective rate.

not too be confused, i think MTEC also make HID bulbs and kits as well. OP might refer as halogen bulbs and not the hid kit. I heard that MTEC is like almost like PIAA but at cheaper price. I haven't try cuz most PIAA are the same price as HID and all my cars are HID now and haven't fail yet. All china hid too, so i kinda lucky,.

Thanks! I'm really considering those MTEC's now. And yeah, I'm looking for halogens, not HID kits. They're pretty cheap at about $24 a pair.
I'm not getting them off ebay, but from a website that I have ordered my Osram NightBreaker H7's from.
Is the Cosmos Blue, uh... very blue? Or are they white? I'm trying to decide whether to go with the Super White or Cosmos blue. I'm looking for a bright, white look, and don't want it to be too blue-ish. The Cosmos Blue bulbs are also a bit more expensive at $35, and the Super Whites are $24.
