I was just wondering if its possible to re-base a D2S bulb to 9006 yourself.
If you can, how hard is it to do and what do you need?

I would like a set of those Philips 3000k rebased on a 9006. The rebased ones are pretty pricey.

I'm actually looking to do the same thing when I have some time on my hands. I have some spare 9006 donors and 3000k Philips Ultinons in my fogs. I'm just worried about ruining the focal point.

 

I have some D2s that I wanted to rebase on the 9006 as well for my headlights. I tried searching on ebay for a rebase kit but didnt find anything. Hopefully someone had done it hear so we can do it also.

 

Ask Xenon Depot how they do it...haha!
