How to convert from 9006 to D2R bulbs?

I guess I understand what your idea is. You want to use OEM D2R HID bulbs WITH THE MASK for reflector, but you have 9006 housing. Forget about it. The only HID bulbs for 9006 housing are aftermarket crap WITHOUT THE MASK for reflectors. They will rather pass for D2S, D4S series for projector type headlights. There are some real adapters for D2R/D2S, D4R/D4S bulbs on e-bay but not for 9006. Here’s what you need only for 9006.
