Interior Light Question
I posted this on the GX470 section ,but,it may get more attention here.Below is a copy and paste of my problem.
Well,I decided to take a chance and change the door courtesy lamps. I tried to take off the clear lens, but,I could not get it off,so,I pryed the entire light assembly out of the door panel.I change the bulb and try to put it back in place, but,it does not stay. After looking it at it closley,it appears that a little dab of glue was applied to each end and thats how they are held in place.
For a quick fix,I wrapped electrical tape around the assembly and it is held in place, but,I do not want to leave it like that. Does anyone know the proper type of glue that a body shop would use? This of course assumes that it is held in place with glue, which I think it is.
