Default LED foglights bulbs

I just bought some Hella Optilux for my explosion bumper and they fill the holes in the bumper perfect. The only thing that I hate is that the light output is horrible. I purchased some cheap fogs from pepboys that seem to light up the road 10 times better but they didnt fit the bumper that good and they didnt match my headlights as far as the glas color they are the 20 dollar blue tinted lights we all see on every car. My question is what do you guys think if I was to replace the H3 bulbs in the hella fogs with H3 led's? Will my visibilty still suffer or stay the same. I do know it would look better color of the light, but as far as performance Im not sure. HIDs are the alternative but not sure how hard that would be to install HIDs in these aftermarket lamps. ANyone have any answers?

with the price of those LED bulbs approaching the cost of HID from our CL vendors, there is almost no point to get LED and it can't compare to the output of HID

aftermarket lamps or not, buy the HID kits that match the base of that lamps you have, the only probably you should ask is where you want to mount the ballast.

once you got HID fog, you won't settle for anything else

I was thinking the same thing with HID vs LED as far as visiblity. My issue or what has kept me from pulling the trigger on HIDs for the fogs is finding a kit that will fit the foglights that I have. Right now I have the Hella optilux 2500 and not sure if there is a kit that will fit those. If so does anyone know of any. I saw some cheap HID H3 kits on ebay. Ten my second issue would be finding some where to mount the ballasts !!! any and all insight is welcome!!

I installed HIDs in my fogs this past Saturday and mounted it behind my head lights. We ran the wire down from there and just plugged in the bulb.
