Bosch makes OEM headlight/headlight components, they never made kits. I know there are ebay and aftermarket kits that advertise the ballasts to be bosch, knock offs = **** poor quality .

JnC can correct if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain Bosch never made "kits" (ballast/bulbs/ignitor). Bosch HID parts are the OEM parts on some vehicles. So you'll never see anything like a 9006/H7/H11/9004/etc. bosch conversion kit. OEM ballast connectors and bulbs are typically D2S and D2R. The 9006/H7/etc. bulbs and such are just rebased bulbs designed to fit the socket, but those are illegal. Same with Philips, Osram, etc.. if you find Philips or Osram "kits", they're fake and very cheaply made products whose seller will not honor a warranty.

On the other hand, you may see individual Bosch parts for sale, though you'll never see a "kit" manufactured by Bosch. If someone claims to have a Bosch kit, don't even consider buying from them because likely they have no customer service, have cheap materials that die in weeks, etc.

The "bosch" kits that I have seen online have as much to do with BOSCH as Lexus does with apples.
