That little "parking" light?
So I just installed an HID kid, looks great. Now that the colour is different, i notice that there is a tiny bulb lit on the corner of where my daylights/highbeams are. Soo...what purpose that even serve?! I'm just curious, i read in one of the threads here that its a "parking" light...i dont get it, how does it help?
It just looks kinda weird now, cause if you pay attention, you can see a tiny yellow light...ya know? anyone care to enlighten me? (no pun intended) :P

I was wondering if the car came with park lights...is that what that is? I know 3 series and the new C class have them, but its usually on one side...for parking on streets that are really dark, so you want ppl to see you.
How much battery does that drain? can i leave it on for like 8 hours or so?

Technically ya it's if you park in a narrow unlit alley, you leave your parking lights on overnight. The drain on them is very very small. On the European models (I know MB has it), you can choose which side of the car to illuminate (instead of turning on all 4 corners)
