Guys i just recently installed the 5 LEd refractor bulbs and i noticed that they dont turn on when i appraoch the car like the old bulbs did. Does anybody know why is this so.

 

Do you have the button pressed "Door" to turn it on? I have LED's everywhere in my car and I have no problem at all.

 

Yea i do b/c the way i can tell is from the back dome light. I didnt change it out yet cuz i dont have the bulbs. When i approach the car the back dome light turns on but the front one which i changed dont. But when i open the door they turn on but not when i approach it.

 

Could it be because i only have two refractor bublbs in the front dome. I only had two so installed them and i will install the third one later which is going to go in the middle.

 

Yeah, that is your problem. Ok, when you approach your car, only the MIDDLE bulb in the front dome turns on. Since there are 3 bulbs in the front dome, the outer 2 don't light up when approcaing the car and only the middle one lights up (to save power). Same with the back where only 1 bulb lights up. However, when you open the doors, all the lights in the front dome and rear dome turn on.

So to fix your problem, you are going to need to switch one bulb and put it in the middle.
