Question HID 3000k Yellow Fog Lights

I was discussing with a fellow CLer at lunch today about the HID fogs. My 02' GS3 has the clear fogs and his 02' GS430 has the standard yellows.

I'm really lookin to change mine into the HID 3000k Yellows sometime very soon. I was wondering how much it would cost and who I'd get to install them? How long will they last and is it worth it?

You can get a kit on eBay, xenondepot, hidexpert, any number of places. Just make sure it comes with a harness because I don't think the kit will work without the harness on the fog lights. I tried putting my hid kit one time on my fog lights and the lights wouldn't turn on.

Yes they are. They aren't a kit though. I'm using hella gen 3 ballasts and real philips 3000k d2r bulbs. pretty rare.

But most if not all 3000k bulbs should produce a yellow like that right? Im trying to find out how yellow the McCulloch 3000ks are before I buy it.
