Trouble with retro fit?
i retro fitted some mercedes hids and projectors in my 92 sc400. and at first i just plugged them straight to the bulb connectors. this make them come on, but only one side (sometimes left, sometimes right). sometimes not at all, and of course sometimes they work. but as soon as i hit a bump 1 would go out. bear with me
. i did a little searching to find that i need a wire harness i pulled up a diagram. and made the harness. well guess what. same sh%t. any suggestions. here is a picture that i used to make my harness. any help will be rewarded with a thousand shillings
lol

ok . i made a second harness. now both headlights are on their own harness. and i am still having a hard time getting them to turn on together. also when they are on together and i hit a bump, one usually goes out. i wonder if i used the right relays. i got them from advance auto. or could the problem be internal (in the car some where)? but i keep testing it at the relay by removing one of the switched wires and reconnecting it. the relay trips, but same crap sometimes on sometimes no. i think i will kill myself now

Well a few ideas.... try swapping the harness and see if the problem follows. Have you secured the ballast's properly? If all of that is ok you might have a bad ballast... Awww please no death wishes

Any automotive relay that can hold at least 25Amps is ok. Two ballasts striking simultaneously will only draw about 10-15Amps at startup. Make sure your fuses in the relay harness are beefy enough. I replaced my fuse on my relay harness with a 40AMP stereo in-line fuse
Anyways, I'm thinking that one of your ballasts or connectors might be bad. If it's cutting out only when you hit bumps then theres obviously something loose...either inside the ballast or somewhere on the connector going to the plug for the HID bulb.
