I have both and the LED look better than the polarg.

The led are brighter and whiter. The polarg look like you layed blue tint over a standard filament bulb which makes it an off white/blue.

....... and whadda ya know........... that's exactly what they did.

I must be feeling generous tonight, I went out for pics.

I think you can guess which one is the polarg here.

Last one. It's freezing outside (33 degrees), no tripod, you get what you get

damn guys. you made OLT go out in 33 degree weather for pics? you had better get the LEDs.

if you do end up purchasing LED bulbs guys- you might want to pick up a few extra - i keep burning out one of my trunk lights... maybe it's the bass? who knows. whatever the case, the lights keep burning out. blah.

I have yet to find an LED that can last more than 4 months without flickering or going out completely. Any suggestions?

Mine have done well, no failures. They are the one's with 5 or 6 mounted in a row and look like a long glass fuse.

the small square map light in the pics is polarg.

The prices look good.. I got mine from eautoworks.com. they prices are pretty fair and about the same as you mentioned above.. You might also want to try ebay.. I saw 2 packages of M4's going for 9.99 +shipping. It ended up being about 20.00 for four. Not bad deal.. You might save a few bucks... GL.. I still need to do my map lights and doors
