Default changing the hid bulbs in 2007 is250

hey everyone, im new here and am from SoCalPrelude.com... i just got my 2007 is250 and i love it, however, im lookin to get the hid lights to be more blue/purple. i understand that it is equiped with bright white hids. is it as simple to just change the hid bulbs to a higher K. such as 8000K or 10000K ?

also, if so what is the size, ive searched it out to be H11's but im not 100% sure

You need to change the bulbs If the car came with HID option
You need H11 convertion kit if the car came hallogen....
But i dont think you should go over 6000K...

yes, but not blue/purple as 8000k, which seem to be cop magnets.

IMHO 6000k is the perfect blend of light output and color.

They are D4S, and the only place that seems to carry them is xenonvalot.

with a price of 199EUR which comes out to about $239USD + shipping.

id just hold on to my OEMs until some better/cheaper ones come out. esp. since that is D2S/R Ultinon money.

The new 2IS uses a new HID type of bulb that is MERCURY free. It's a D4S bulb.

D2S will not work, it will turn on then shut off.
