I was going down I-75 yesterday and I saw a white A6 go by so I took a pic of it. Its a little blurry because I took it while driving with my RAZR( dont do this children) .
I am pretty sure all oem applications/manufacturers use 4300k however the newly used D4S/D4R (mercury free) version bulbs are rated at 4800k but I have yet to hear of a manufacturer use anything different.
OEM 4300k bulbs will color shift over time, and become more like 5000k tho, after approx 1000hours of use. and oem bulb manufacturers sell bulbs at this rating that the consumer can purchase in the event that one of their color shifted bulbs go out.
I'm sure it is the same 4300K OEM light output, it is the projector that makes certain bulbs look different on different cars, but they are all the same OEM output.
