Default Ebay HID kit rocks!!!!

I couldn't take driving in the dark anymore and i sure as hell wasn't going to dish out some serious money for Phillips HID kit or a retrofit, so i went to ebay and got me a pair of 6000k HIDs. these pics were taken in a hurry and well before the lamps were warmed up, sorry for the bad pics, but better than nothing!

here we go:

what glare? haha. sure a nice cutoff with no glare would be nice, but all i care about is the light output, i was nice enough to lower the beams so oncoming drivers arent blinded as well as my car being lower.

its so difficult to get the correct lighting on pictures, this pic shows it blue, because it wasn't warmed up, the color is pure white!

poor attempt at a drivers shot:

i never got to wire up my fogs since my conversion, but i definetly want to go the yellow route. 3000k HIds wud be nice but im not about to dish out that much as of now. so for the time being im gonna put on some 2500k bulbs along with yellow film on the housing.

He didn't use the philips kit. It was an eBay kit.

what was the total cost for you? I really want to go HID but I can't justify $499 for the Philips kit

Why would you want to do a retrofit? Doesn't the LX470 come with projector lenses? Just install some aftermarket HID's and you should be good to go.
