I'm looking to buy these Red Clear Red Lights
for my 2000 LS 400
What type of bulbs should I put in? LED'S?
Also are there any concerns I should have with these lights?
Also any pictures of what these look like when they are on and what they look like when you hit the brakes?
I think those tails look pretty cool - until I saw a photo of them lit up. I think only one bulb fits in the panels on the trunk (like stock) and when the white and red lenses light up together, they look pink. Acck.. no thanks!
LEDs might work better because the light won't "bleed" - but IMHO I think they'd look better if only the red portions lit up and not the clear.
i had the same problem when my dad went to red clear red lights on his 95 LS400. the bulbs they gave him were just red coated bulbs that eventually faded and turned pink. So i got him some polarg red hybrid lens, they work fine, red in the clear part, i'll try and get pics when i go home tmr
really?? i thought that the lines in the outer and inner corners didnt match up so im assuming that the "work" involves somehow aligning the inner tails?
