I was seeing some gs led tailights and saw how they have the bttom part clear instead of yellow,and i was wondering if anyone knew of a led kit that had the trunk lights with the same clear part, now I know they wouldnt light up, but I think they would look nice, If they dont exist, are the trunklights clear with red film that can be scraped off, or is it red plastic, I got a pic off ebay and used paint to paint the bottom white(notice the small trunklight)

 

you can buy clear inner trunk leds and candy the top...

 

i dont think it would really match if the middle trunk lights had white on the bottom ............only because the look is two seperated lights in the rear....

ok wait i just looked at the picture u put up and i took a good look at my car outside and i just was wondering , "why would those lights look weird if they had clear on them "

-take a look at your light on the trunk it sits higher being all red its inline w/ the outter tailight part that is all red...so the clear wouldnt be level making it look really off? maybe if the trunk lights sat a little lower it might look not that bad....but the lights arent connected so to me it would still look funny...

 

Candying is basically painting it with a candy red so it looks OEM.

I dont think it would look quite the same where our taillights are so far apart vs. the 3gs. Not to mention quite a bit different in size. If I was home on my other computer I would do a quick chop because it still may look good...

+1 more. Too much separation between inners and outter to pull that one off even if you aligned the red/clear for both. I would like to see a photoshop though. Maybe it'll change my mind.

Yes, I like the 3gs look, and I think that if you got leds with high clears and the trunk leds were low so that they would be aligned it would look good. I kneed more info on candying, would the brake lights still be noticable?
