Default mtec cosmos

hey guys,
i was looking for that HID look and did not want to spend alot on the HID kit. so i got the sylvannia silverstars and put 9005 all round in low high and fogs.it was pretty bright but i must adit is not white(although a lot of people i ask about my car say it is white but when compared to an oncoming car with HIDs it is yellow).
now i did a search and saw that the MTEC cosmos are white but my probelm is on their website they have two kninds.

MTEC 2x MTEC 4x
Wattage(draw) 65 100
Wattage(output) 130 150
temperature 4350k 4350k

what is the major difference between these two?
is one or the other going to burn my harnesses like i have read about some high temp fake super white bulbs?
and can anybody who has actually used these and the silverstars attest to its whiteness over the silverstars?
thanks in advance guys

I'm not quite sure about the 2x and 4x, but I think I've read somewhere that their for rally cars and emit more light, but may heat up/damage your wiring harness.

I just ordered the MTEC 4750Ks from ebay, their about $5 more expensive then the 4350k, and I've heard from some people that the 4750k is quite a bit better. I currently have Sylvania Silver Stars H4/9003 in my 97 Camry, so once these MTECs arrive, I'll share pictures.

The major difference is that one will most likely damage/melt your wiring harness and the other will mostly likely not.

Personally, I would stop wasting money on hyper-white halogen bulbs and just save up for a good HID kit. In the end, you'll be happier that you did.

I just got a set yesterday of cosmo blue and they look great. Also they only 55w draw / 100 watt output. I plan to be using mtec for awhile.
