how long did you wait? it will take a min for them to warm up. also 12k is not blue, its pretty much purple. blue is like 8k or 10k.

I got 10k d4s on my car right now and they are not as blue as they should be, Mines are pretty white also. I think it has something to do with the quality of the bulbs cuz I got mines pretty cheap

4300k - yellowish white
6000k - white
8000k - bluish white
10000k - blue
12000k - purple

as mentioned, depending on the quality of the bulb, may give you a different outcome

i think whatever companys you buy HIDs
from, theyre gonna be different. a 10k from
one company compared to another is not
always gonna have the same or similar color output

i think you mean 12000k?

again, the "k" behind the number stands for "kelvin".

at 12000k, you're looking at purple-colored light output. if that's what you're looking for but are getting a pure blue (8000k? 10000k?), then chances are you got the wrong color kit. don't assume that just because it's labeled "12000k" that it IS "12000k". let them know you didn't get what you're looking for, and return the kit.

on a related note, why do you even want to run 12000k HID's? there's not enough useable light with 12000k, and the color looks, well, ridiculous. unless it's really purely for personal preferences (which then would lead me to question them) i would suggest looking at something with a lower color temperature, like, say, 8000k. at that color temperature, you have a decent mix of color and light output.

Might be hidextra bulbs I got 8000k for my fogs and they are whiter than the 8000k I got for my lows. Then again my lows are Garax bulbs, but my lows are white with hint of blue, whereas my fogs are really white lol they match well enough though but I'm pretty sure if I changed my lows to 6000k it might match better and I can see better at night.

This is the problem you run into when you run aftermarket ricer lights on your car. Every company rates them differently. OEM Phillips 85122+'s or go home.
