Is there a way to get the kind of light color and output that the new IS/GS have on their license plates? I assume they are using LEDs for their lights. Also where is a good place to get the lights from?

I have the same question. Anyone have this information.
i tried the piaa blue/white LED in my GS. I think it looks a little too blue for my taste....i think i'll try the piaa white LED.
Same here, I bought a pair of PIAA Blue/White LED and it was too blue, so I tried White/White and it's just perfect, very white with slight tints of color. Looks clean.

Can you take some night pics to show how this looks? Also where did you pick up the PIAA LEDs and how much were they?
Here's one from the back of the car, flash off. There is a slight tint of purple color when reflected off the silver of my car in real life, but it isn't captured here. The PIAA White/White LED wedge bulbs cost me $25 from a local import auto supply store. The light output is great though, it even lights up the ground around the back of my RX and is very bright compared to any incandescent bulb, expensive yes but worth the money IMO.
That looks like pretty much just what I want. I will have to check out autozone or pepboys Does anyone know where to get them online if I cant find them locally?
