Default Help! I'm guessing its to the relay??...

First, I would like to say that this is my first post. I bought my Lexus GS 300 this past Thursday, and just from reading through some of the threads on this site, I have learned a lot of good info. I'll post pics of the new ride soon. Still a newbie

Okay so I bought a plug and play 6000k HID kit for the 9006 Bulbs. And now I need to hook them up. They seem pretty simple, but I'm having trouble with a couple of wires. I dont know a damn thing when it comes to wiring so I'm hoping someone can help me out.

The bulbs connect to the ballasts and each ballast has both a positive and negative spade connector coming out. Where the hell do I connect these spade connectors. Post pics if you can because I have no electrical vocab. I was guessing that the prongs would just go to the headlight relay but I just bought the car and have no idea where anything is.

well see I thought about that, but then what would give the signal for the lights to come on. The ballasts have to receive a cue to power up. Thats why I thought relay, but Im not sure

there should be another input to the ballast where you plug into either side of the original headlight plugs where it gets its signal?

Isn't there a write up here somewhere where someone witha blue 98 hooked up his HID kit? I could have sworn I saw that a year or 2 ago on the front page somewhere

yeah there should be one, i just did a quick search but couldn't find it.

the problem is my kit was the old type where it took power from the original plug, not battery, so it might be a bit off
