So the instrument panel (cluster) lighting senses outside light by the tow sensos on the dash. In the sun it wil be brighter than night. However, at night I see the lighting annoying and I want to cut the feedback from the two sensors to the instrument panel lighting only (not the headlights) so that its bright in all conditions. Any ideas?

Last time it was discussed, there was no way to over rule it. Dunno if anyone ever followed up on that or not.
