Default L.E.D. dome lights..

Wanted to share...

When I have my landcruiser, I found this guy george, who makes these LED toyota dome lights which are absolutely amazing...

especially if in a LX470 or something similar...

I ordered one for my SC4, hopefully all will work good.

My domelight has fifteen 15,000 MCD pure white led's in it arranged in the same pattern as Jose's tails. It's got some juice. 225,000 MCD.

I've bought those dome led's before. Either they're a good color and too dim, or very bright but more purple than it is white. I think OLT's stumbled upon something, good color with extreme brightness. I dont need my interior to be that bright though.

Jacques - Sorry to hear about your expectations with the LED bulb wattage. I guess people have different opinions and thoughts of the brightness of aftermarket bulbs. But hope that you enjoyed them

Finished up my dome/doors/footwell/ignition/license lights. Here's the pics (my camera sucks at night)
Door (24 led's each)

Interior shot

Ignition and footwell

Dome and Maplights (96 wide angle led's in total )

License Lights (12 led's)

Another interior shot

I also did the glove box with a #74 led bulb and trunk light with a 24 led array.
I ordered everthing at superleds.com and was quite satisfied. Very bright and quick shipping. The door lights required a little dremeling and the dome/maps needed some cutting and solder but overall it was pretty easy. These things really catch people's attention, a great mod.

Next up is the window switches, shifter panel and lextec for my cluster and climate control. Stay tuned
