gs300 rich...i feel your pain brotha. im goin thru the same thing as you right now. Mike just retrofitted a pair of head lights for me and i cant even use em. just ordered a pair of d2s philps ultinons and d2s plugs from ebay. so which route are u taking? soldering or crimping? Which method do u think is better in the long run? heres a link of the d2s plugs i ordered
Hey Chris. Wow I've never seen those kind before mainly because I don't deal with HID KITs. If you just buy those and have plugs like these now
you won't have to solder or crimp anything. Just plug the wires up like you would plug a PS2 controller in and you're done. Looks like a quick and easy solution.
Either way its an easy job to do and you'll be happy once you have the right plug so you can use any OEM HID D2S or D2R bulb in the future
i hope the d2s plugs i ordered are 'plug and play' because when it comes to doing anything other than pumping gas and changing a flat tire, im clueless.
Thanks for the update Mike and good luck with your car gs300 rich. Ill get my beam shots once i get everything together.

Ah if I came back from germany a little earlyer I would of helped you out with those plugs, I have 3. Now that I'm back and sorted out a shipping problem I will be posting 2 sets of lexus gs Sport design headlights with everything, got them in germany, I was quiet surpriced they had lexus's there. Anyway I hope those plugs you ordered come with oem quality connectors because the majority of the 25,000 passes through there and considering the wires with those ballast are longer then perfered alot more resistance is encountered so if anyone takes this route make sure to get some high quality maybe copper based wire connectors to increase flow and reduce the chance of something coming lose. And as far as my retro goes I'm still waiting on the 2nd halogen headlight I ordered like 2.5 weeks ago and the guy is in illinois, had to seep through credit card statements to find the payment and still no response, even though he has an ebay store so my retro is definatly on hold untill that headlight arrives. Great retro tiguy99 very clean very oem looking!.
I installed my retrofit today and everything went pretty smooth. Only problem is when I fired the lights on and went to turn on the foglights they didnt come on. Any idea as to what happened? I checked the fuses and they arent blown. I just dont know what I did wrong? I just have to adjust the beams now because the drivers one is way too low
I figured out where I went wrong. Now I just have to go aim the beam. The passenger side is so high it doesnt even light up the road, and the driver side is so low that it only lights up a few feet in front of the car, so I guess there is a lot of adjustment to do
Now I have a new problem. The cutoff is so far off and the adjustments seem to do nothing. I cranked on them for 10 minutes and nothing, not an inch of movement. What should I do?
