Attn. Lighting Gurus! Need Some Help/Advice w/ HID Conv.!!
I have a set of HID ballasts and bulbs that I removed off my old GS HID lamps and was wondering is there anyway that I can utilize these to convert my fogs into HID's? I'm posting a pic from another members thread (nevermind the black box) of basically what I have to help you guys have a better understanding of what I'm looking to accomplish...Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You will need a rebased 9006 HID bulb for you fit your fogs. So if you want to use those ballasts....you will need to mod them as well.
Easiest way is just buy a 9006 HID conversion kit.

yeah you can get some hid bulbs, and get the base to rebase them to 9006, you can find them on ebay
but then you will also need to modify the wiring (splicing the wires) to connect the ballast. i think that's a lot of work
