McCulloch HID kit any good?

Default McCulloch HID kit any good?

well i already got my kit in paid 285$ shipped for them in 6000k. easy install looks pretty good. Anyone know about the quailty of these kits?

I've heard nothing but bad things about them bro. Sell it for 300 then take the loot and head over to www.hidplanet.com and pickup one of their retrofit kits so you can have OEM HID components and get a quality retrofit. You'll have the real thing the first time around and eliminate all the headaches the Mucculloch kits bring

I have had it for a while now and I think its pretty good. I never had any problems with it.

they have blue glass on the bulb i bet, right? they are no good. not true 6000k bulbs. i wouldn't touch them

Henry, I dont think they have blue glass on the bulb. Well, not the one that i've seen in person.

the bulb is made out of glass but it is not tinted any color. Just clear.

my friend has had them on his 2001 S-10 for quite a while now. he says he's very satisfied and they have never given him any trouble.

close friend of mine bought a set of these HID's. Ballast went dead after 6 months. It sux because you can't interchange ballasts. You have to use their set brand.

in general, i've heard a bunch of stories about these too. NONE were praising these HID's.

McCulloch no longer officially/legally operates in both United States AND Canada.



why would you buy expensive electronics knowing you can't have any backup warranty?
