Default Im going NUTS!

Ok guys heres the deal regarding my head light problme...
My GS3 is in perfect exterior condition without any pumps dents or scratches. When the car is clean everything shines and sparkles up untill you take a look at the car from the front. The god damn head lights have grown this thing that makes it look like the head light is fogged up. I guess its oxidation so now i dont know what to do. I cant afford to take it to a shop to clean it and i dont want to screw my car up because im horrible at fixing anything. Can advise me on a safe an fairly cheap way to get rid of that oxidation because in going NUTS!

Thanks in advance,
Jim

the oxidation you speak of , is it condensation or actual yellowing/fogging of the headlights?

I used a product called Meguires PlastiX its found at checkers auto parts. And that really does good on the outside. Unfortunately when i waxed my car some of the wax from the hood got onto the top portion of the headlight lenses. Now i cant get it off for the life of me. So if anyone has any good ideas for getting that residue off let me know. Ive done the meguires thing for hrs upon end still no firm results.

I've got some of that Meguiars stuff on my headlights, but I didn't leave it on long. MAybe a minute or so. It doesn't do anything to mine. How long did you leave the wax on there? If it was on there too long it might not come off. And normally when the lights fog up is when the seal is broken somewere, so that could be your problem. My headlights on my LS have a couple scratches do to rocks but other that they are CLEAR and shiney. That wax helps them out I think.

if it's not on the outside, then your only hope is to take it apart and clean the inside yourself

make sure it's not the outside part that's all blurry

well i dont leave the polish on at all.
I used it more like a rubbing compound. where you polish it on and then right away polish it off. Am i doing that wrong? Also if that doesnt work, this weekend im going the rubbing compound direction and finishing with PlastiX
