Can you put the camera on a flat, steady surface so we can get a better pic?

He did say it was a 'quick' picture.

You've zipped right through this mod. Seems like you had a plan, and all the materials, and you just did it. Have you done this project before with other vehicles?

Cannot wait to see final pics.

I am really interested in the sanding of the lenses though. I have the 2k grit sandpaper but what should I use to buff the lens once I am done sanding, to get rid of the fine scratches?

I wouldn't sand it bro...... I've never seen it work out.

try washing the lens' w/ a powerful degreaser and then claybar it.... then to wash w/ DAWN and claybar at the same time also..... give it a final rinse.... and then use some 3m rubbing compound, w/ a high speed polisher, and polish up the lens' w/ a good plastic polisher or even car wax might do.

try that out first to see if it'll work for you before you go for sandpaper... the sandpaper is a bit more permanent and non reversible.... whenever you are dealing w/ the finish and or paint..... start small then work out.

yeah, using 2000 grid sand paper and then some nice rubbing / polishing compound and you can get some amazing stuff done

what rubbing/polishing compound do you guys recommend? Is it best to use this by hand instead of an orbital buffer?

Paint job looks kool and shroud but isnt the projector is mounted too far in? Looks like you'll have a hard time getting it in the engine bay and once mounted that the output would be affected due to it being so deep. Looks good otherwise.
