Default Changing Footwell lights on GS

Anyone change out the lights of the footwells in the GS. I want something brighter to match the lights at the bottom of the doors. I am not sure what type of bulbs to use or where to get them. would a LED in there not have a wide enough beam pattern to cover the area? Anyone who has changed these please post info on what, where, how much and also pics please.

The 74 LEDs work pretty well, even with the narrow beam pattern. They don't fit easily into the 74 sockets in the car though, there's little nibs that need to be shaved off in the socket. www.superbrightleds.com

What did you use to do the shaving. Are the 74 leds just for the front? So I should get 2 of them? Thanks for the help. I am glad the beam pattern is more spread out

Did you guys get the 74 LED bulb ? Its on the 2nd page of the superbrightleds.com site and its close to the bottom. I am pretty sure it is the right one but want to make sure. Also would I only need 2 of them?

If i were you I would order 4 or 5 of them #74 LEDs. You need 2 for the footwells, 1 for the glove box, 1 for the key ring, and 1 if you mess one just in case....

Does anyone have a part# to which #74 led bulb would match the PolarG bulbs?

The lights at the bottom of my doors are quite blue. I ordered the white Leds #74 so when I get them I will post some pics to see the match. I dont expect them to match too well so I will need to change the lights at the bottom of the doors. Any suggestions?

I assume these are the lights you are talking about?

Well I changed the lights on the bottom of the door to PolarG m4, but now the footwell lights and the glove box lights look off-white now.. I guess white LED is whiter than what I have now in the footwell stock #74. So I guess I'll order the white LED bulb..

I think the white led may be closer to the polarg bulb than the blue, that is why I got white. From the pics I saw in another thread the blue LEDs are very blue
