Default SC300 hid retrofit upgrade

Heyyyy guys i needa bit of help.... I took apart my headlights and cleaned it (oh so pretty now lol) and Now i want to put angel eyes/or a led strip but definately some Hids. I just found out about the retrofit swap thing. I herd that bmw e39 and the audi tt are one of the best, however i want the deep blue look. what should i do and does anyone have directions or know a site that gives directions on how to make the swap THANKS

Cool Retro Fit

Yea something like that but I dont know which projector 2 get and what type of Hid unit. I seen a X5 with hid's with a bluish tint (dark blue) and no I didnt post in the wrong forum

it's all about how deep your pocket is, projectors and hid units are 2 different things and selection is . . . . . umm . . . what's the right word?

Are retrofit's worth the extra $200 dollars? Illusion lighting quotes for the sc300 run around 700 while philips kits run around $500.

retrofit will run at least 600-700...no doubt......which includes labor by the way.
if you got the $$$, then do it!!!........

heres a link this guy really knows his stuff. he has a tutoriol on HIDs. the retrofit he has in his cars is BMW X5 OEM HID retrofit system (Hella projectors, Hella ballasts, Philips 4100K bulbs) and his car looks great

yea thats the color i wan, but i was reading that its not the bulb its the projector that makes it darker. N i dont care about my eyes getting tired.... i live in nyc theres enuff lights 2 counter that lol. And I was planning on doing it myself since I alrady started taking the headlights apart and sprayed the inside black. But thanks ne way
