Default Yellow Fog Bulb Wattage

my header (mounting) panel for my 1990 ES says the yellow fogs are 55W bulbs. can i put 85W from here:

http://www.classicgarage.com/classic...85wclearh.html

in the socket without messing up the housing/wiring? or will it draw too much power from the car? i already have a dimming problem...

I wouldn't recommend it. Go with the 55w they offer.

IMO they may seem ok at first but I think you might run into problems long term if you go 85w. You should be able to find plenty of 55w yellows.

85w that's way too high. putting 60w is almost the max i would do for the car
