Default Yellow halogen light bulbs?

So I recently bought some 3k HIDs for my fog lights and had nothing but nightmare issues. theyd flicker, one bulb burnt out, and two sets of bulbs were miscolored (golden yellow and neon greenish) So they offered me some yellow halogen bulbs in replacement for free.

they told me that its more yellow than the 3k HIDs, BUT its not as bright as the HIDs... does anyone have those yellow halogen bulbs installed on their fog lights with pics? Seems like all the HID sets I've had were more towards a neon color than golden yellow..

If I were you i'd get a refund of your money and buy a better set of HIDs elsewhere.
I would not settle for yellow halogen bulbs instead.

I have Nokya Hyper Yellow fogs and have been extremely happy with them. I had a set in the fogs of my last car for over a year and they were perfect.

I have them in my Lexus now in my fogs as well as high beams. All of them have worked great and the color is very deep and vivid.
Here are some pics

Sorry that the quality is so bad, they're from my Ipod :/

My lowbeams are Nokya Arctic White

When buying halogen bulbs be careful of the wattage lol. I made sure I got the 55w (lowest) for the Nokya bulbs cause I know they burn really hot. I can warm my hands up easy in the winter by facing them to my fogs lol. Also, wire harnesses are a good way to protect your stock wiring!

I had HIDs from vex motorsports and kept getting mismatched 3k bulbs. I bought a set from HIDextra and 1 bulb flickered while another ballast didnt work.

Where'd you get the HID set from, if you don't mind me asking.

relays are the key if you don't want flickering.

I've had the same luminics for 3 years now. i might try some putco for my DRLs

i have putco jet yellow from steve @ xenondepot
one bulb wouldn't light up upon install so waiting for replacement but the other one (working) looks great (no i didn't leave it on)
i really just did it for the looks, visibility isn't much of an issue since there's hid for the lowbeams anyways
not to mention fogs aren't projector so i don't want to hurt people's eyes and i've read so much flickering issues with using hid on fogs that i just told myself "forget it, yellow bulbs it is"
