Lexus has been using them since 92 on the SC's, maybe one of the first to use them. Don’t know why they went without them from 98-2003 LS's and 98-2004 GS's.
They look similar to the LS projectors which have a reflector portion at the bottom allow a better spread of the road. The LS output is very wide, wider in fact than s2k because of it.
