Hi,

One of the bulbs of my HID retrofit bulbs appears to be (almost) dead. It just flickers for a couple of seconds and then goes out. Is there anything I could try to fix this, or is it time to buy new bulbs?

In case I have to buy new bulbs, does anyone know if most retrofit kits use the same wiring and harnesses? I bought my kit about 3 years ago and just can't remember where I got it from. It says "Vision" on the ballasts and the other components

did you try to swap bulbs to make sure it's the bulb problem?

anyway, if it's hid kits and using 9006 d2s, then it's not retrofit, it's just hid kits. if it's retrofit then you are using the whole hid assembly from other cars like the bmw or so.

Sorry, must be my bad english. What I meant by "retrofit" is that it's not OEM. I definitely need 9006 D2S. And yes, I swapped the bulbs. I just thought that maybe there's something I can do to fix this, since it's not completely dead (yet), but I guess not.

I looked at the replacement bulbs at xenon depot, but from what I can tell, none of them comes with a wiring harness. Maybe I'm missing something?
