I just recently bought a used pair of HID headlights. One of the headlights is missing a harness. What do you guys suggest I do. Can I just buy a plug or something and the plice the wires or is there anything else I can do? All input would be appreciated. Thanx
Were you aware of the missing harness before you bought it? If not, I would suggest the seller fix it.
If thats not possible, I would go to Radio Shack or an auto parts store for a replacement harness. Splicing should not be a problem if you know what you doing....just make sure the wires are covered up to avoid damage from the engine heat.
No I wasn't aware they were missing. I e-mailed him and he said he can't do anything about it. If I can't get it fixed for cheaply I will reverse the payment on the credit card. But I hope I can get the plus because I really want to get those HID's. Thanx for your help.
Anyone else have any other suggestions or know where to get the plugs or harness onine? thanx
