Default HID Harness Needed?

Hi, I'm new here. I am buying 55W HID kits from ddmtuning. Anyone had their product insalled before? Do you need to purchase the HID Harness for an extra 15 bucks?
Thanks alot!

i used a relay harness for my highbeams. it makes a wee bit of a difference.

i passed inspection without the harness though.

Do not know of ddmtuning but a lot of us here picked up HIDs from forum sponsor www.xenondepot.com a/k/a www.kbcarstuff.com . Steve's product comes w/ all the harnesses needed for PnP installation and his customer service is top notch.

Careful with those 55W kits. They overdrive 35W bulbs meaning that the bulbs will burn hotter (potential to damage your housings) and burn out significantly quicker.

Yup! It is stated right on the website. The bulbs will work but since you are overdriving them they will run hotter (careful) and burn out significantly quicker.
