Question

How much are you willing to spend on bulbs?

PIAA Xtreme Whites are great bulbs, they sell for around $65/set or so.
Sylvania Silverstars go for $40/set or so. Pretty decent bulbs but not as white as Piaa's IMO.

Koito is the OEM manufacturer for Toyota lighting (headlight assemblies/bulbs). You'll notice that if you look closely at the lens on your headlights, it'll say "Toyota Koito Japan".

Here are the Koito H3C bulbs that persian451 was talking about:

Scrap the H3C and convert to H3 it's very easy and you can also get 100watt bulbs.

No need Mike, but thanks. It doesn't get any brighter than HIDs.

Haha Peter, I've already taken that risk in the past on my 1st car. Besides, I've learned that taking too many risks will hurt the wallet.
