" Converting cornering lights into fog lights.
This modification is specifically for the 1992-1994 SC coupes, which came with cornering lamps instead of foglamps. Foglamps were introduced on 1995 production cars. "
Can someone please tell me, what cornering lights are and how do they differ from fogs?
They're under the headlights in the bottom of the bumper, where foglights would be on the newer sc's. They're extremely bright turn signals that work when the headlights are on.

Moving to Lighting Discussion..
Woowoo! That's my ride hehe... Anyway just to extend a bit, the cornering lights' purpose (found on the 92~94 SC's) is just that... to illuminate a corner (either left or right, relevant to the blinker position). They point out to the side unlike the 95~00 fog lights, which are purposely fitted as fog lights. Look closely at the second pic (92~94 SC) and you can see that on mine, the cornering light is on (bad pic though... it was shot in the afternoon) but the headlight's not, as the cornering lights (in my case) are wired to the parking lights.
Cornering lights are dimmer in light output, but have a wider (localized) light spread. They only come on one at a time--left cornering light with left turn signal, and right with right.
