Default LFA Tumi Luggage question

I finally received my Tumi luggage for my LFA, very cool indeed, and was wondering if it is supposed to have the dedicated car serial number plaque attached to each piece. I remember reading somewhere that they may have started to add the plaques, but then decided to end that program and send them out without a serial numbered plaque. Anybody familiar with the background concerning this?.

Was what you read the issue with carsondriv's luggage (via spinout180) in the following post?

No clue as far as why your luggage doesn't have any badging. I'd contact the product specialist... even if there were issues with VIN numbering / badging and orders, there's absolutely no reason why they can't do the VIN engraving post facto.

Disappointing, but it does show how TMC's support for the LFA has dropped to zero in the past two years. Certainly does not bode well for any future halo products or performance-oriented models.
