I looked at car for build number
The build number on this car shown on plague is #468... Brilliant white..
This is obviously not +2 from vin... What's up here?

I believe it came out initially that the VIN number and plaque number are not tied together.

Saw car 2 days ago..
I saw the car two days ago and the build plaque was between the seats showing 468.. yet the vin ends in 474.. I wanted to know why the build number is less than the vin number, whereas it appears in most cases it's the reverse?

You're 100% that it was that badge with that VIN? I haven't seen one that far off before.
