Default Market Conditions December 2012

As the early cars are coming up on 2 years in the market, how will the LFA do in the used market?

Today I noticed a used one, 008, was on the market in the mid $340s with 800 miles.
I called the dealer, an exotic specialist and the car had already been sold to another exotic dealer.
I called the second guy and the buy it now price was pretty much the same.

The view from these folks is a car with such a small production run and the chops it has should hold up price wise and may do well in the future like the Ford GT.

Fun fact, the car was traded with a 2013 Mustang for a 458 spider to the first shop.

Today I also saw that 003 hit the market for $339 with over 6K miles. That one looks kind of optimistic. For folks that don't recognize the number, that was the first one in the US and has tons of YouTube action. I believe the owner ordered a second one so maybe 003 has to go to make room.

Surprising considering the owner of #003 Roy Mallady said he will keep both his #003 and the ordered #500. The #003 was supposed to be his wife's car, but I guess he changed his mind.

Here's 003's listing:

Roy is a super nice man. He must be making room for LFA 500.

It says in the description:

"This car will be featured in the January/February 2013 edition of Car and driver"

So that means, C&D will be running a feature on the LFA in January or February of 2013?? Could it be their annual "lightning lap" that is run in January/February??

Perhaps he doesn't want to keep two LFAs, since there might be LFA 2 coming? I think he would know better than the rest of us. Space/money is definitely not an issue for him...

Haha I think flipside909 would know more if another LFA is in the works but IMO I doubt it.
