A dealer by the name of Expo sold my friend the car. Expo bought it from the dealer in California. When Expo sold my friend the car the story was that the car was given by a Lexus dealer to a potential lease holder. A few weeks later it was in the California dealers hands. But I asked Expo guys about the rogue salesman and they said they believe the potential leaser crashed it and the Lexus dealer is doing their best to protect his privacy. But all this honestly is hear say.

What I can tell you for sure is that this car rammed some object could have been another car could have been anything. And subsequently was hit in the rear.

I will post more pics and video once some of the parts start rolling in from Toyota.

someone gave me a tip on an update of this car

so it went to texas and it's again on the market. the funny thing is the front bumper and fender seems to be fixed. the hood is now ok, not sure if it's repainted.

but the rear is not touched, seems like the same damage still. the front headlight is still broken.

so the car is partially fixed but not all. someone wants to get it?

The car has been sold for 350k and its already on its way to its new home. Bumper parts were not feasible due to time. Awesome car.

And obviously bc of the bumper it wouldn't be a good rental candidate but still made a fat chunk so all parties happy.

A: HI, Yes in parts it’s $14,000 plus labor. If you want I can assist in fixing it for you if you decide to buy the car or you can do it yourself. Yes they are available but have to special order them. Perfect drive train and and Texas clean title. Call me to discuss further. Thanks you,
$14k in parts plus labor. That's a bargain repair. Did he forget about the other parts and the add'l costs?

The car will need a hood, headlight, rear bumper, radiator cover and rear quarter panel plus whatever else
Then you have labor and painting to get back to a car that is visually ok but has a history that will lead most collectors to pass on such a car
Hard to believe this could trade at $300k

Buyer in China backed out. And the car is expected to trade well north of 300k. After thw buyer backed out it was gonna run in copart but was decided ebay is better. Its actually its third stint on ebay. 300 is just the starting point.

And get real what fkn "collector" its not a museum piece even in perfect condition. Its an uber expensive Toyota tgat really is for pickin up coot. Makes cool sound and has a neat gauge cluster. Other than that honestly nobody even knows or cares. It will sell soon though no worries.
