That's right. The Black LFA #032 is being prepped to become a wrapped Yellow for an upcoming tv show appearance. Can you guess what show?

Getting bathed before the wrap:

The roll of vinyl:

LFA is pulled inside:

The door panels are carefully removed:

What the parts look like on the table. Door trim panels, door mirrors, side markers, rear spoiler, rear vent grilles...

And it begins!

Cinco de Mayo! Good Morning!

More to follow.

Why not just leave it black? Think of how much weight all that vinyl adds.

If this were true, we'd need to beg Lexus to put on some street legal race tires , just so we can see the real track potential of the car.

Because black is not a good color to photograph or take video of. The car needs to stand out, and because the Pearl Yellow LFA is making its rounds in the East Coast, its impossible to get it back here in time for the shoot.

I actually liked the Pearl Yellow one a lot when I saw it at Infineon up close. Now what interior combination would go with that, hmm...

Certainly hope they change the color of the brakes, unless they want it to look like ketchup and mustard lol. So any of the guesses right so far there, Flip?

Black is the only color that would go well with the Pearl Yellow exterior imho. Unless you do a combination of yellow and some sort of tan inside. Or if you want to be California patriotic, Pearl Yellow outside, blue inside.

You should see the Pearl Yellow used for the Best Motoring test below. I'll try to take some screen shots of the car and the interior. It has McDonald's going on outside, and Clemson purple & orange on the inside.

Can't stand black interior because it's hard to keep clean.
Yellow and Blue, ha ha, that would be just as bad as the one with purple interior
