You are funny

Who has the history of avoiding Fighters in their prime?

Who thinks he is bigger than the Nevada gaming commission and demands tests beyond what they require?

Who's family has had a history with drugs?

And finally Who has zero loss record but is rated lower than Pacquiao by as the greatest boxers of the last decade by Boxing experts.

Only factual replies accepted LOL

If you don't know why, then just continue to read ALL of the upcoming articles and head to head comparos.

Nice vid by the way!

I could care less why they did it.

The LFA being superior to the GTR does not prove anything because that is to be expected.

hmm cool video indeed, but a bit disappointed at the LFA performance. Thought it would have given a better fight. Needless to say, I'd still take the LFA over the GTR

$400k is waaay too much to pay for a performance car that doesnt quite "perform". There are plenty of other cars I would choose over the LFA that are in that price bracket.....

Define "perform"?

When you're paying over $100,000.00 for a car, the performance differential you are getting is not linear. There are a lot less seconds between 3.6 secs or so to 3.0 in 0-60 MPH race.

Heck I can spend $50,000 on a car that will beat this car and most other cars you can think of in a straight line.

Spending this kind of money does not buy you outright performance.

It buys bling, class, exclusivity or whatever else to call it for people who can afford it and crave it.

+1

Honestly it's getting annoying hearing the incessant 'HOLY **** GUYS $400K FOR 0 TO 60 IN 3.7 SECONDS ONLY WHAT'S GOING ON" or

"WTF $400K IT'S NOT THAT MUCH BETTER THAN A GT-R JUST LOOK AT 1/4 MILE TIMES AND 0 TO 60"

I see this sort of faulty reasoning applied to the LF-A far more than other cars of this class like the aston martin dbs/aston martin one-77, list goes on.

Judge the car on what it is - an exclusive, rare supercar. The people who purchase vehicles of this class really do not give a **** about the price. Really, they don't.

If the LF-A were priced at $1 million, it would not change my perception of the car.

Nobody looks at the Aston Martin one-77 ($1.7 million) and starts complaining about how it costs as much/more than a Veyron but has far inferior "drag strip" performance. Enthusiasts don't care, they judge the one-77 on what it is without regard to price.

^^^+2

the guy in the LFA can buy the GTR 100% of the time, not the other way around. trust me and no offense, but no one in the LFA cares about the GTR's performance.

completely agree, it's really hard for me to see how some people justify the prices vs performance of cars at up scale 300+ grands, it seems like they expect the cars to be 10 times better or so.

granted, if i have enough money to afford exotics (note, i don't mean if i have 400k, i mean if i have way more than 400k), lfa will unlikely be my first exotic, and also that i am totally fine seeing comparison between the lfa and gtr (gtr has been used for comparisons to a lot of cars these days), i just find it pretty funny when people draw a straight line between performance and price of the two cars.

all the good stuff been said on this hot thread!!!!!

apples and oranges
orgasmic rush to 9000rpm with a sound that can wake the dead!!!
compare the euro super cars to this!

i'll add one more, probably said already. when u get a car like this, it ain't just about the numbers. it's like a fine wine with it's unique personality!!!

too bad the odds of me driving one is pretty damn slim (dang it!)

LFA doesn't quite perform?! The motor that can rev idle to 9000RPM in six-tenth of a second doesn't count as perform in your book?

I really wonder what you drive and what you mean by "perform"
