He is a self proclaimed member of the more money than brains club. I would say he will pull the trigger. Lexus probably approached him because that is the kind of high end high visibility client they want to own the car...........Enzo Ferrari did the same thing with his early cars

 

If he got an R8, perhaps. If not, I doubt it. I also think he is more into older cars. Either way, I haven't cared much for his taste in cars over the years. He should buy an ES350 with black roof, enjoy the punchy acceleration, wood wheel, and call it a day.

 

ES350?? Thats way to common for a guy like JAy Leno.

 

It would straighten him out a bit and relax him. He needs to come back down to earth after his Dodge Viper purchase.

 

I remember when I was in college at UCLA I used to work in Bel Aire as an aide for a handicapped child. Every morning on the way to work I would see Jay Leno is a Red Viper every single day. It was like we left our houses at the same time every day. I remember how his big head used to stick out over the windshield

 

He has a ZR1.


i think he's gonna buy an LFA, then sell it. then steal the car back from the 2nd owner.

 

Compared to his rival Letterman, Leno, IMO, is a genius. He certainly has enough brains not to make the gaffes that Letterman does....or at least, less-serious ones.

Enzo was a strange character. For him, sports/exotic/racing cars seemed to be strictly a matter of buisness, not his personal life. His daily driver was a lowly Italian Fiat 128 econobox. Fiat used to make a big deal of that, in TV ads, before they pulled out of the American market. Their classic commercial was that of Enzo, in his little white Fiat, pulling up to his reserved parking space at Ferrari's Modena HQ, while company employees opened the door for him and helped him unload his buisness gear for the day.

 

All of those exotics in his big garage and he drove the Viper every day? Doesn't make sense to me.....but, if you say you saw him every day, I'll take your word for it.

And some Viper models can be a PITA to get in and out of.....they have big, hot, scalding exhaust pipes on the lower-edges of the door openings. They can also be quite unreliable. After dealing with that for a while, I guess he IS ready for an LFA.
