Should Lexus make a non-hybrid CT250?
Agreed. I test drove a CT200h right when they came out and I was very impressed with the handling, and I could live with the power for a daily driver (but add AWD and the 3.5L V6 and now we're talking).
^^ This, with a 6-speed manual three-pedal or a dual-clutch manual.
Or else they could just do the easiest thing and sell a FWD gas-only version with an updated 2.4L/200hp engine from the deceased Corolla XRS paired with the option of a 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual.
A powerful AWD version would be GREAT but it really just needs a version with the specs listed above.
The CT200h is a beautiful looking hatchback but the "futuristic" driver interface doesn't impress me enough to want to seriously consider one over another car. If I really wanted a car with a similar look I'd just buy a Subaru WRX STI hatchback and get even more car for my money.

The Ct200h is not selling in the US. I expect it to disappear in a year. I actually had one but traded it back in a month. Great vehicle but the steering wheel doesn't get out of the way to easily get in and out for larger types.
I can't wait for the NX line to show up.
