Was just hoping to create a forum for discussion and news on the upcoming "Lexus Prius".

I'm sure all the car-snobs will have a thing to say, but I'm more interested in hearing from those who believe that the never ending quest for more horsepower, fuel economy be damned!, will become a thing of the past.

I want all the Luxury bells and whistles Lexus is known for and 30+ mpg.

From what we have heard a 2.5 V-6 with hybrid power. I guess about 220hp or so. 35 MPG or so.

Price in the 30s....

 

That would be just fine with me! (As long as it has all the electronic bells/whistles/gadgets I need in my "luxury" cars...which I am sure it will - otherwise it would just be a Prius).

 

Will it look stupid like the Prius or is it getting a new look?

 

Also wondering if anyone cares to speculate on if it will be RWD, FWD, or AWD. I'm hoping for the latter...

Same here, I think that Lexus/Yaris is BAD A$$!!! I wish they would keep that idea going......

Ah, I missed the release date - no wonder nobody ever said much more about it. :-)

At the time, I even emailed it to my dealer where I got my F - might have had him going for a bit as well.
