Default Lexus UX release date - Who's preparing to get one?

Recently heard about the new Lexus UX and it's availability in December 2018. I checked out their press release and like how they call it the "modern urban explorer". They really tied in the whole city and modern living concept with this model. Can't wait until arrives.

I know many details aren't out yet, but Lexus vehicles never fail to impress.. Who's all preparing to get their own Lexus UX??

I will be considering a UX250h in early 2019 as a second car. The hybrid aspect for my commute, the hatch/utility for two large German Shepherds, and AWD for Tahoe and trips to the PNW.

I am, but my main concern is the hybrid version. It's only 5 MPH more than the standard gas version. Is that worth the extra price? Are there other benefits to the hybrid version like self-charging brakes?

Not sure if it is worth the extra price, but I read that the hybrid version has the all wheel drive option, the standard gas doesn't. For me, so far I am leaning towards the hybrid for the AWD.

The CVT for the gas version is a deal killer. The interior seems lifted straight from the Toyota CH-R.

Default Considering it

It fully depends on if it has the Lexus luxury we have come to know. If it’s been decontented, no thanks. The plastic fender arches are a concern.
Some of the Lexus Amenities that I use frequently and that I would like to see on the UX are: Heated & Cooled Seats; Large NAV Display; Heated Steering Wheel; Park Assist; Blind Spot Monitor; Backup Camera; Backup Collision Avoidance; Tinted Windows; LED Headlights and Fog Lights.

We're seriously considering the hybrid model as a runabout vehicle and a Mini-Me (we'd be looking for the same exterior and interior colors) to our 4th Gen RX.
